This has been a long work week and it's not over yet. Last Saturday has been my only day off in two weeks. The extra money is nice, but I am worn out.
Tomorrow is supposed to be full of bad storms. They are suppose to hit when I am at work. As long as it doesn't rain on my way to or home from work, I will be ok.
Well this is my shortest post, but my hands are just tired as I do data entry all day. I am turning in for the night. Hope it's a good night! And remember, tomorrow is a new day with new possibilities!

It's hard to believe that it's 10:25pm already. Where did the day go? It seems like there isn't enough time to do anything after work or I am either too tired to do anything.
Ashleigh and I did have a "Mommy and Me" afternoon at Great Clips. We tried going to Super Cuts, but there was only one lady working and two people ahead of us. She said that it would be an hour or more wait....I don't think so. We left and went to Great Clips. It was a 20 minute wait which wasn't too bad. Ashleigh got a bang trim and I got my hair cut. It's shorter than it was, but not as short as I have had it in the past. I like having long hair, it's just that my hair is so thick and heavy and I sweat all the time. It's much cooler and lighter when it's short. Scott likes me with long hair so he wasn't happy when I came home and my hair was shorter. But I don't say anything when he gets his hair cut short, so he can't say anything when I cut mine.
Scott had already made dinner when I got home. He made spaghetti and meat sauce. It was good, but I didn't feel like eating when I got home. I did eat a little bit, but that's all I could eat. While I got the kids fed, Scott worked on his Suburban. He thought that he could get to the part that was broken. The repair shop quoted us $425.75 for the part and $300.00 for labor. Extra money that we just do not have. Scott was able to find which part was broken and able to get the part at Advance Auto for $40.00. He got the broken part out and installed the new part himself. It's so great that he could do that. He saved us $685.75!!!!! Yea!!!!! Just maybe we'll be able to save some of this money I am making at work. Maybe even a little vacation. That would be nice.
Well I need to go to bed. 6am gets here very fast and very early. Since I am not a morning person, it takes me a little time to get going in the morning. I need to find time to read Nanny Returns, the book I borrowed from the library. I will probably have to renew it as I know I won't be done with it on the 19th when it's due.
I am off to bed. And remember, tomorrow is a new day with new possibilities!!

Well I haven't been doing a good job of keeping my blog current. The thing is that I have been working on the computer all day that I just don't feel like getting on the computer when I get home. I am not sure how long this peak is going to last, but the extra money will be nice. Last week I had 5 hours of overtime which is really nice, in addition to getting 40 hours.
I am so ready for my violin to be fixed. All the stuff to fixed it has been delivered, now I just need Ashleigh's string teacher to fix it. I even bought a music stand and violin lesson book to get me back into the know how of playing the violin. Hopefully it will be like riding a bike, once you learn you never forget. I don't think it will be, but I am trying to think positive.

I know, I am bad. I didn't post yesterday. I was exhausted when I came home from work yesterday. I made the kids dinner and then laid on the sectional. The next thing I knew, Benjamin was waking me up at 11:25pm. It was just too late to post.
It's nice because Scott is home from being gone on business all week. I have only Saturday to enjoy as I have to work on Sunday. I am not complaining, as the extra money is needed. I have so much laundry and housework to catch up on that I probably won't get to enjoy any outdoor time. I guess it's just sacrifices that we make.
I really don't know what to write about today. I am drawing a blank. So on that note, I am going to close this entry. Not much of an entry, but I did write. As always, tomorrow is a new day with new possibilities!

Today wasn't bad. Had to work. Then had errands to run. Now I am back at home. I am tired....same story, different day. I got Wendy's for dinner so the kids are happy. Scott is out of town for the rest of the week on business.
I got a new wireless keyboard and mouse for my desktop computer. They are connected by a USB receiver, which is nice not having to have the PS/2 port receiver sitting on my desk. I was able to use one of the USB ports on the front of my desktop. They seem to be working well. It's so nice not having to worry about wires or the mouse/keyboard being too far away from the PS/2 port receiver. The keyboard also has 12 function keys which makes shortcuts easily accessed.
I am looking forward to getting my violin fixed. It's going to take a little more work than I thought. Ashleigh showed me some of her sheet music. I remember some of the notes, but not a lot of them. It's funny how your mind can remember so things, but other things you forget so easily. I am sure once I start practicing and seeing the notes again, I will hopefully remember. I know it's going to take practice, but practice is what I am willing to do.
My new filing cabinet has gotten messy on top. I need to organize it, but I just don't have the motivation. I had my desk area cleaned and then papers kept getting piled on it. It's not as messy as my other desk, but it's not as neat as it was when we set my new desk up. I will work on it this Saturday. I can't do it Sunday because I have to work.
Speaking of work, I have been working all week. Which is nice because we need the extra money. I am going to work as much as possible because another part on Scott's Suburban is broken. It seems like when we fix one thing, something else breaks. It's like we can't catch a break. I really need to come into some money, but I don't foresee that happening anytime soon.
I think the kids are going to have an early bedtime tonight because why......I am tired. I am sick of saying that, but it's like someone pulled my plug and all my energy has run out. I am even running slower at work than I usually do. Which stinks because the faster I key, the more bonus money I can make.
Well I have rambled enough for today. I am turning in early tonight because we have to be up early tomorrow. I have to have the kids ready to be picked up by their Granny at 7am. Which means I am going to have to get up extra early to get myself ready and then get the kids up. As always, tomorrow is a new day with new possibilities!

This is going to be a short, but sweet. Last night's storm kept me up all night. As soon as the storm hit we lost power which is surprising since all our utility wires are underground. We had no power all night long. I thought the wind was going to bust the windows and take the roof off the house. But in the end, we were all right. Except without the power, the house got really hot.
I did have to work this morning. The agency sent me a text message at 6:30 in the morning. So I was running around with a candle, trying to get ready in 30 minutes. I was actually early to work. I was just tired because I stayed up the night before on the computer and then fretting over the storm. Needless to say, it doesn't help with the tiredness that I am battling.
I am going to fix my violin up and start practicing again. I have missed it, but I know it's going to take work. I haven't used my violin since my senior year of high school. But Ashleigh is taking violin and we can practice together. We will learn together. Her strings teacher said that if I got the parts she would fix the bridge on my violin, put the new strings on and tune it. It should be fun as I really enjoyed playing throughout Middle and High School. Once we have a little more money, I'll buy a new case as mine has seen better days.
Well I have more to say but it's after 10:15pm and I need to take a quick bath and go to bed. I need to catch up the sleep that I missed last night. Maybe one day I will not be tired. I long for that day! As always, tomorrow is a new day with new possibilities!

Today was better than yesterday for energy. I went to work, ran to the bank, paid the landlord, came home and helped Christopher with his homework. In all my energy level was ok. I still don't feel like I could run a marathon, but I feel more energetic than I did this past weekend.
I was mad because they didn't call me in for work tomorrow. I don't understand, I help them out when they call me at last minute, but then don't get called at other times. It's enough to make you want to pull your hair out. I need all the hours that I can get.
I want to type as much as possible for this journal entry, but I feel like I am going to throw up. I don't know what the deal is. If I hadn't had a hysterectomy, I would swear I was pregnant. But there is no chance of that whatsoever.
On that thought, I am signing off before I puke all over this new laptop. As always, tomorrow is a new day with new possibilities!
